The Ongoing Assessment and Intervention Team (Adult Social Care) at Darlington Borough Council: "We would like to say a huge thank you to Darlington Support's volunteers for looking after one of the vulnerable adults we referred to them.  The lady has physical disabilities and lives alone with her dog, but does not have a carer to look after her at present.  As a result, the volunteers stepped up to help her with her ongoing shopping requirements.  They also regularly walk her dog and make friendly companion calls.  The volunteers are patient and friendly and have made a positive impact on this individual’s life."
